Arts Thornton presents the annual Twist & Shout outdoor summer concerts and ward-sponsored ice cream socials, along with a new multicultural Acoustic Tuesdays concert series.

Safety-spaced seating starts at 6 p.m., music starts at 7 p.m.

There are many ways to enjoy summer concerts this year!

Pre-register for safety-spaced reserved seating HERE and bring a blanket or chair. 

Park in one of our first-come, first-serve drive-in listening spots.  

 Find additional grass seating beyond the reserved area at Carpenter Park Field.

Acoustic Tuesdays Concerts w/ Live Stream

Lu Murray Park, 9211 Dorothy Blvd., Thornton (next to Thornton Arts and Culture Center)

Six performances presented by regional artists celebrating various cultures and holidays with live music, dance and storytelling. The Acoustic Tuesdays series is sponsored by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) and Thornton Arts, Sciences and Humanities Council (TASHCO). Admission is free. Twist & Shout Summer Concerts

Carpenter Park Field, 108th and Colorado Blvd., Thornton, CO 80233

Eight bands will perform a range of popular music at Thornton's largest park. This year's summer concerts are sponsored by Brother's Plumbing, Heating and Electric and Olinger Mortuaries.


In order to keep everyone SAFE at our event, we ask attendees to follow state guidelines for attending outdoor events including:

• Stay at least 6 feet away from others as much as possible and refrain from mixing and mingling with others not in your household during the event.

• Always wash or sanitize your hands as frequently as possible after touching anything at the event.

• Face mask or covering on at all times when you’re not with your household group during the event.

• Exit the event if you’re feeling ill, exhibiting COVID-19 like symptoms or if you have been in close contact with a person suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.


Let's work together to keep these events safe and fun for all audience members! 


Safety-spaced seating is first-come, first-serve for pre-registered ticket holders. Please bring a copy of your ticket or have it ready to display on your phone when checking in at the park to confirm your registration. 

Bring your own blanket or chair, and find an available square. Acoustic Tuesdays Concerts have a maximum of two people per square. Twist & Shout Concerts have small (two-person) and large (four-person) squares. If your group is larger, you will need to register for multiple squares.

Unregistered guests will be required to register when they arrive at the event. Seating is not guaranteed for unregistered guests. 

In addition to reserved concert seating on Eventbrite, you are welcome to attend the Twist & Shout concerts at Carpenter Park Field using our drive-in listening spots and additional grass seating beyond the reserved area. Parking spaces will be available as marked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Children under 12 must attend the concert with an adult regardless of seating location.

All information is subject to change as is the maximum capacity allowed at these events based on current guidance from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment on the day of the concert.
