Development Proposals Under Review
The City of Thornton has initiated a pilot program to identify development projects that are in the review process. Development projects requiring a City Council public hearing are posted with a sign. The posting sign is intended to generally notify interested parties of a prospective development, with phone and website contact information.
Active Development GIS Application
Development projects in the review process are identified on a web-based application/map. The web application/map will provide a summary of each project along with an opportunity to provide input to staff regarding the project.
Public Notices
Projects that have been noticed for a City Council public hearing are listed on the City of Thornton’s Public Notices page (link above).
Planning Commission (PC)
The Planning Commission is responsible for holding public hearings to receive testimony on applications for Development Permits and Variances to Chapter 18 of the City Code.
