Discover the dynamic, playful world of printmaking in this hands-on class, where students experiment with a variety of printing techniques from Gelli plates, Lego blocks, recycled material collagraphs, and linocuts. Young artists will learn how to design, assemble and print their own unique images while having fun playing with color, texture and mixed materials. All supplies included. Ages 10-14. Fee: $55 R/NR

Learn the fundamentals of watercolor with new exercises each week. We will cover materials, color mixing, wet on wet, dry brush, and approaches to landscape and still life. Students will learn the basics of tapestry weaving on looms provided by the instructor and techniques including plain weave, knotted pile, inlay, and soumak. The instructor, artist David Johnson, will use cultural sources as foundations for design. Fee covers class materials including a loom you can keep. This is a three day class, taking place every other week on Sep 12, 26, and Oct 10 only. Age 18+. Fee: $100R/NR
