Join Thornton Parks, Recreation & Community Programs along with our partners from Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Electric, Raising Cane's, 
Credit Union of Colorado, North Metro Church and Passanante's Home Food Services for a day of fun collecting eggs and candy,
featuring 
an adaptive and inclusive egg scramble to include youth with diverse needs and abilities.

Please refer to the charts below for the appropriate start time for your child(ren).
Plan to arrive early as individual scrambles will start at the time posted and are over in minutes!

Remember to bring a basket to collect your goodies!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • One grand prize per age group will be awarded with a golden ticket in an egg. The winner can claim their prize at the Thornton Community Center from Saturday, April 16 through Friday, April 22. 
  • Please call the Weather Line at 720-977-5908, the morning of the event for weather-related information. There is no rain date if the event has to be cancelled.
  • Bring a basket to collect your goodies.
  • Parking is very limited and is located in the following areas:
    • Thornton Community Building (2141 E. 95th Ave.)
    • Thornton Community Center (2211 Eppinger Blvd.)
    • Minimal side street parking
    • Limited ADA parking is available in the north lot off of Thornton Parkway with additional spots in the north facing row of the Community Building parking lot.
    • Do not park at the Church of God 7th Day. (Eppinger Boulevard & Gaylord Street)
      This lot needs to be kept open for their patrons.
  • Once your portion of the event has concluded, please return to your vehicle and exit the event site in order to allow a parking space for someone participating in the next age group scramble.
