SATELLITE EVENTS BEFORE THE FESTIVAL!

Fishing Derby

8-11 a.m.  |  Grandview Ponds, 4401 E. 104th Ave.
This event is open to children 4-12 years of age when accompanied by an adult. In addition to the natural lake inhabitants, the lake will be stocked with fish for this event. Prizes will be awarded for the longest fish caught in age categories that include: 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 year olds. A prize will also be awarded to the Most Authentic Fisherman! Participants must bring their own fishing pole, bait and supplies.
Cost is $1 per child.


Pancake Breakfast

7:30-9:30 a.m.  |  Active Adult Center, 11181 Colorado Blvd.
Come and visit the beautiful Thornton Active Adult Center when they host the all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for the community. The menu includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee.
Fees: $3 Seniors 62+/Children 12 and under  I  $5 Individuals Age 13-61


Weather permitting, we will also be offering a Low-Cost Produce Fair courtesy of Lulu's Farm in the Active Adult Center parking lot during the Pancake Breakfast. Please be sure to bring your own bag or container for your produce purchase.  The Low-Cost Produce Fair will also be present at Harvest Fest in Community Park from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. See description below for more information. Cash payment only at the Active Adult location.

Be sure to stop by and enjoy the many live performances at the Larkridge Main Stage. Grab a snack and a drink and pull up a seat to enjoy many of the Denver Metro Area's finest musical entertainers.

Cultural Stage
Don't miss the entertainment on the southwest side of the main field! You will be entertained by various cultural performing groups that will have you wanting more! (All information is subject to change.)

Bella Diva
Prepare to be full entertained by international dance performances including, Classical Persian, Tahitian, belly dancers, Bollywood and Egyptian Folk Dancing.

Rocky Mountain Steel Band
Sit back and enjoy a beautiful autumn afternoon listening to the melodic blend of Rocky Mountain Steel Band's Caribbean-style steel drum music with a huge sound.

The McDeviants
The McDeviants is a Colorado-based Celtic Folk Rock Band that loves performing. The unique blend of fun and raucous attitude the McDeviants bring to the stage through their music is the perfect compliment to any event. Audience members are encouraged to sing along and even do a fine jig if so inclined.
Hugo's Lucha Libre
Join us for live action Mexican wrestling provided by Hugo's Wrestling Promotions. Be amazed by the luchadores' spectacular costumes and movements!

Low-Cost Produce Fair
Enjoy this produce fair courtesy of Lulu's Farm. Fresh seasonal produce will be priced at a lower cost for all to enjoy! Produce will be sold by the bag. This event will be weather permitting and as supplies last.

Fall Tree Sale
Purchase your tree at the festival and pick up the tree in the parking lot just east of City Pool. Trees are selected by Thornton Forestry and Horticulture staff based on their ability to survive in Colorado soils and climate conditions.

KIDS KORNER
Follow the laughter and the screams of delight as Community Park comes alive with fun activities geared-to-children, including inflatables, mini train, a bungee trampoline and face painting! Many of the activities are FREE, however, some require a small charge.
HARVEST FEST BAZAAR
Experience some great shopping venues provided by participating craft exhibitors, home businesses and other various vendors as well as discover an array of exhibits from local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
RETRO GAMES
Parents will enjoy watching their children participate in the throwback area, dedicated to a simpler time. Participate in fair games such as Autumn Bingo, Hula Scarecrow Toss, Giant Connect Four, Corn Hole and more! Try your hand at these various activities for the chance to win fun prizes.
PUMPKIN DECORATING
Come claim your free pumpkin and spend some time decorating your gorgeous gourd with our supplies! You will have access to stickers, paint and stencils. While supplies last.
FIRST RESPONDER ROW
Stop by and visit with representatives from the Thornton Fire Department, Thornton Police Department and North Suburban Medical Center. Here you can explore a Thornton Fire Department apparatus, police e-motorcycles, a police cruiser as well as enjoy Operation Copsicle.
FOOD COURT
A variety of foods for a variety of tastes! Sit, relax and enjoy your meal in the picnic area located just outside the food court.
BEER GARDEN
Adults age 21 and over are invited to the Beer Garden located next to the Larkridge Main Stage! You must show a valid ID to make a purchase.
