SATELLITE EVENTS

Harvest Fest Fishing Derby  I  8-11 a.m.  I  Grandview Ponds, 4401 E. 104th Ave.

This event is open to children 4-12 years of age when accompanied by an adult. In addition to the natural lake inhabitants, the lake will be stocked with fish for this event. Prizes will be awarded for the longest fish caught in the following age categories: 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 year olds. A prize will also be awarded to the Most Authentic Fisherman. Participants must bring their own fishing pole, bait and supplies. All types of bait and lures are permitted. Cost is $1 per child.

Pancake Breakfast  I  7:30-9:30 a.m.  I  Active Adult Center, 11181 Colorado Blvd.

The Active Adult Center will be hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast for the community. The menu will include pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. Fees: $4 Seniors 62+/Children 12 & under and $6 Individuals Ages 13-61. 

A cash only Low-Cost Produce Fair will be available during the Pancake Breakfast from 7:30-9:30 a.m. or until sold out. Stop by and pick-up some healthy produce to take home.

Harvest Fest Marketplace

Experience great shopping provided by participating craft exhibitors, home businesses and other various vendors as well as discover an array of exhibits from local businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Low-Cost Produce Fair

Seasonal produce will be priced at a lower cost for all to enjoy. This event will be weather permitting. Payment methods accepted: Cash, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

Skate Park Competition  I  8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Thomas J. Slocum Memorial Skate Park comes alive with the thrill of competition for scooters, bike riders and skateboarders! There are three skill levels for scooter, bike and skateboard divisions. Registration fee is $5 and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. A waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian. We will announce the 2023 Skate Park Competition Series winners following the event! HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. For more information, please visit goCOT.net/harvestfest or call 303-255-7800.

Food Court

Enjoy the full festival experience by partaking in the assortment of  menu items provided by our food vendors. From hotdogs and burritos to funnel cakes and ice cream, there is something for every palate. Sit, relax and enjoy your meal in the picnic area located just outside the food court.

Beer Garden

Adults age 21 and over are invited to stop by the festival beer garden located next to the Larkridge Stage to socialize with other adults, while enjoying an ice-cold beverage. A photo ID will be required to enter.

First Responder Row

Stop by and visit with representatives from the Thornton Fire Department, Thornton Police Department and North Suburban Medical Center. Here you can explore Thornton's antique fire truck, police e-motorcycles, a police cruiser as well as enjoy Operation Copsicle.

Autumn Tree Sale

Thornton Forestry will be selling one inch caliper size trees that weigh approximately 20 pounds, making them easily transported. Cost is $75 per tree payable by check or credit card only.

Hugo's Lucha Libre

Join us for live action Mexican wrestling provided by Hugo's Wrestling Promotions. Be amazed by the luchadores' spectacular costumes and movements.

Kidz Zone

Enjoy inflatables, a bungee trampoline, face painting and a mini train. Many of the activities are FREE, some require a small fee.

Retro Games

Participate in fair games such as Pumpkin Bowling, Autumn Bingo, Hula Scarecrow Toss, Potato Sack Races, Cornhole and more. Try your hand at these various activities for the chance to win fun prizes.

Pumpkin Decorating

Come claim your free pumpkin and decorate your gorgeous gourd with our various array of stickers! While supplies last.


LARKRIDGE MAIN STAGE

ACOUSTICATORS  I  11 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Acousticators are a local, group based in Thornton, having a distinctive approach to Americana-style music with a blend of Contemporary, Folk, Blues, Country/Bluegrass and Classic Rock favorites, all covered by their unique acoustic style.    

CASS CLAYTON  I  12:30-1:30 p.m.
Cass Clayton Band blends influences of rock, funk, soul, gospel and R&B in a new way with plenty of inventive sounds and unexpected twists and have been praised for their unique approach to contemporary American Rock and Roots music.

PHAT DADDY  I  2-3 p.m.
Phat Daddy has been entertaining audiences with their high energy dance sets, beautiful ballads and memorable standards for nearly a decade!

MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE  I  3:30-5 p.m.
Performing all over Denver since 2002, Message in a Bottle (MIAB is a world-class tribute band that captures the original flavor of The Police which made the iconic band so great.)


CULTURAL STAGE

ELEVATED CIRCUS  I  12 p.m.
Fun and awe-inspiring hula hoop performances that will take your breath away including an audience participation workshop!   

THE MCDEVIANTS  I  1:30 p.m.
The unique blend of fun and raucous attitude the McDeviants bring in their music is the perfect compliment the festival atmosphere. All are encouraged to sing along and even to do a fine jig if so inclined!

BELLA DIVA WORLD DANCE  I  3 p.m.
Bella Diva is Denver's best live World Dance themed show, bringing high-energy and culturally informed international dance styles to Harvest Fest.
