Thornton's Harvest Fest offers fall family fun
September 7 at Thornton's Community Park

THORNTON, CO… Kick off the fall season at Thornton’s Harvest Fest! It's a fun festival for the whole family. Harvest Fest takes place Saturday, September 7, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Most of the events take place in Community Park at 2141 E. 95th Ave., and some activities take place off-site. This year the fun includes:  

Harvest Fest Fishing Derby, Grandview Ponds, 4401 E. 104th Ave. ~ 7-10 a.m.
Pancake Breakfast, Thornton Active Adult Center, 9471 Dorothy Blvd. ~ 7:30-9:30 a.m.
Skatepark Competition, Thomas J. Slocum Memorial Skatepark ~ 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Resident registration is $10 and begins at 10:30 a.m.
Great Chili Cook-Off Contest ~ 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., benefiting the Marc Jr. Foundation. Suggested $5 donation per person or $20 per family (limit 5 people).

Harvest Fest Bazaar featuring crafters, local businesses, and service groups
Kidz Zone
Pet Microchipping
NEW this year…Bubble You® Bubble Tower and Nerf Battle Zone 
Beer Garden, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
