City of Thornton November Holiday Closures

THORNTON, CO… Thornton City Hall, 9500 Civic Center Dr., will be closed Thursday, November 11, to observe the Veterans Day holiday, and reopen for normal business operations on Friday, November 12.

The Trail Winds Recreation Center and Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center, Thornton Community Center, Thornton Active Adult Center and Thornton Arts & Culture Center will be open regular business hours on November 11. The Thornton Teen Center will be open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. There will be no delay in Thornton trash/recycle collection.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, City of Thornton offices, Arts & Culture Center, Active Adult Center and Active Adult Center at TWRC, will be closed on November 25 and 26 and will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, November 29.

The Trail Winds Recreation Center will be open on Thanksgiving from 8 am. - Noon. The Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center and Thornton Community Center will be closed Thursday, November 25, for Thanksgiving, and will reopen with normal business hours on Friday, November 26. The Thornton Teen Center will be open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on November 26.

During Thanksgiving week on Thursday and Friday, Thornton trash/recycle customers will have a one day delay in service. Thursday customers will have their trash/recycle collected on Friday, November 26. Friday customers will have their trash collected on Saturday, November 27. All other city of Thornton trash/recycle customers will be on a normal schedule with no delay in service.
