THORNTON, CO… Kids can celebrate the season with a day of springtime fun featuring egg-and-candy collecting. The event also features live entertainment, food trucks, and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Bunny. The fun begins Saturday, April 16, at Thornton Community Park, York Street and Thornton Parkway, and features a traditional egg scramble with eggs and candy, and an adaptive and inclusive egg scramble for youth with diverse needs and abilities.
The event is divided into these age groups:
The Adaptive and Inclusive events feature a packed dirt surface and sensorimotor adaptations. Each youth may be accompanied by one adult while on the event field.
9 a.m.: walking-4 years
11 a.m.: 5+ years

For ages 10-17, there will be a Flashlight Egg Hunt and a Nerf Dart Arena from 1-4 p.m. inside the Thornton Community Center, 2211 Eppinger Blvd.
