Thornton Fire & Adams 12 Five Star School District Host 65+ Vaccination Clinic
Appointment required for this event on Saturday, February 27

THORNTON, CO… In an effort to reach a 70% vaccination rate for Colorado seniors age 65 years and over, Thornton Fire and Adams 12 Five Star School District will host a free COVID-19 Vaccination event on Saturday, February 27. This is an indoor clinic at the Adams 12 Five Star School District Building, 1500 E 128th Ave., Thornton. Appointments are required for a vaccination, and can be made at gocot.net/covid19vaccine. Again, this clinic is for Phase 1B - 65 years and older age group, and appointments are required. Individuals who are not 65 years and older or arrive without pre-registering will be turned away.

"The vaccinations are provided in partnership with the State of Colorado specifically to reach the 65 years and older population to meet the goal of vaccinating 70% of the 65 years and older population by the end of February," says Thornton Community Safety and Information Officer Sabrina Iacovetta. "Thornton Fire has been holding these vaccination clinics for a few months now, and we really want to reach the 70% vaccination rate to keep our seniors safe and healthy."
