How to Order a Report

All records requests are processed in accordance with the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act (CCJRA), C.R.S. 24-72-301, et seq. Some reports may not be released, or may have redactions required by law. 

  • All Requests can be made in person at 9551 Civic Center Dr (north police entrance).

    • Cash, money order and credit card payments (except for American Express) are accepted in person.

  • Requests for traffic accidents, property crime and civil (non-criminal) reports can be made online or in person.

    • If you order online, a request for payment will be sent using PayPal.

    • Available traffic accident reports can also be requested from Carfax.

      • If you were in a hit & run accident and do not know the last name of the other party, please use "Unknown" in the last name box.

    • You should receive an email response when you're request has been submitted, please check your spam folder before submitting a second request.

  • Requests for persons crimes, background checks, recordings, photos, address searches and other documents can be made in person or by mail.


  • If you are looking to complete fingerprinting for any of the below reasons, please call 720-977-5558 and leave a message with your name and contact number for our Division Support Officer:

    • Court-ordered fingerprints

    • Interstate Compact
