DROUGHT UPDATE: Due to extreme drought conditions over the past 6 months, we are making adjustments to golf operations until we see some meaningful precipitation. Current tee time spacing will be 12 minutes between groups rather than the industry standard of 10 minutes. This will allow us to slightly limit play until the turfgrass is in a healthy position moving forward. The good news for the customer is increased group spacing which usually leads to better pace of play.
The City of Thornton wants to ensure we are transparently communicating with our guests and always makes decisions with the best interests of our community asset in mind. While we all enjoyed the great "winter" weather for golf, we want to ensure the course is ready for peak season when demand is at its highest. Our practice facility includes an 80yd. wide range tee with seven bentgrass target greens at varying distances and a 13,000 sq. ft. putting green with ample space to test your putting skills.
