The Thornton Active Adult Center (AAC) offers a wide variety of special interest activities throughout the week on a drop-in basis. Feel free to stop in and check them out, there's sure to be something that interests you.

Come and join the "Thornton Wood Chippers" every Monday morning. Bring your wood and trusty knife. We've got friendly folks with whittling wisdom who will show you how to create a masterpiece. Mondays from 9-11 a.m.
Mixed use space. You must be enrolled in a current pottery class or ceramics class to use the open lab days.
Wood Shop: Tools are available for use when classroom is not in use, a release form must be completed prior to use. Users must also have valid city of Thornton ID card.
This talented music group performs around the community in nursing homes, other senior centers and such. Most of their songs are from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, hence the name "Yesteryears Singers." Practices are held on the 1st & 3rd Mondays at 9:30 a.m. except summer months.
