NO PUBLIC HEARING IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ITEM
The City of Thornton is considering an administrative decision regarding a Development Plan for the construction of an Oil and Gas production site, in alignment with the Washington Pad Operator Agreement and the approved Energy and Carbon Management Commission Oil and Gas Development Plan.
The subject property is located at 15431 Washington Street, generally located southeast of E-470 and I-25.
A Development Plan application was submitted to the City by Civitas Resources, on December 10, 2025. City Staff has reviewed the proposal and has found that it meets the requirements of Chapter 18 of the Thornton City Code (Development Code).
The decision is anticipated to be final on or after February 25, 2026.
