The City of Thornton is considering an administrative decision regarding the construction of an approximately 4,800-square-foot building expansion to accommodate pickup services (Quebec Riverdale Commercial L1 - Walmart).
The subject property is generally located on the northwest corner of East 128th Avenue and Quebec Street at 7101 East 128th Avenue.
A Development Plan application was submitted to the City by Anna Betkowski of Galloway on behalf of Walmart Stores, the owner of real property located at 7101 East 128th Avenue, on October 21, 2025. City Staff has reviewed the proposal and has found that it meets the requirements of Chapter 18 of the City of Thornton Municipal Code. Further, the proposed addition meets all applicable height, setbacks, and architectural standards of the Code. This approval will be final on or after August 10, 2026.
