The City of Thornton is considering a decision regarding the construction of a 190 square-foot building addition to a previously approved 4,993 square-foot convenience store with 8 fueling dispensing stations and related site improvements.
The subject property is located at 5690 E 120th Ave, Thornton, Colorado 80234
A Development Plan application was submitted to the City by Todd Hager on behalf of the QuikTrip Corporation located at 5690 E 120th Ave. Mr. Hager is the development manager hired by the property owner to complete this project. City Staff has reviewed the proposal and has found that it meets the requirements of Chapter 18 of the City of Thornton Municipal Code. The proposed development meets the standards for a commercial addition in the General Commercial (GC) District. Further, the commercial addition meets all applicable height, setbacks, and architectural standards of the Code for the site. This approval will be final on October 10, 2026.
