The City of Thornton is considering a decision regarding the construction of a 30’ by 25’ detached garage.
The subject property is located at 11038 Muriel Place, Thornton, Colorado 80233.
A Development Plan application was submitted to the City by Thomas Hart on behalf of the homeowner of the property located at 11038 Muriel Place. Mr. Hart is the contractor hired by the homeowner to complete this project. City Staff has reviewed the proposal and has found that it meets the requirements of Chapter 18 of the City of Thornton Municipal Code. The proposed development meets the standards for a detached garage in the Single Family Detached - Legacy (SFD-L) district. Further, the residential addition meets all applicable height, setbacks, and architectural standards of the Code for that site. This approval will be final on October 12, 2026.
