2026 Music Series - Inside the Orchestra Quintet

Join Thornton Arts & Culture for a new third-Friday music series, March–September, featuring live music, dance, and performance for all ages.

Commemorate Juneteenth with Inside the Orchestra during an interactive 45-minute concert showcasing music by three black composers. Performed by a violin, viola, cello, oboe (or flute), and trombone quintet, the program concludes with a 15-minute meet-and-greet where kids can talk with the musicians and ask questions. Designed especially for children ages 10 and under, this joyful experience is perfect for families discovering live music together.
