Council Member, Ward 1 (term expires 2025)
Driven by a passion for my community and a deep belief in the potential of its residents, I have been a dedicated community activist for the past ten years. I am a strong advocate for Ward 1 and committed to working tirelessly for the prosperity of all of Thornton. My 26 years as an early childhood educator have been inspired by the joy and unbridled curiosity of children, a perspective that informs my approach to community engagement. Having called Thornton home since 1988, I've built deep roots here and experienced life's beautiful surprises, including a 30th reunion that led to marriage and a wonderful family of two children and six grandchildren. My partner and I cherish our adventures together, especially our ongoing quest to soak in the atmosphere of baseball stadiums across the country.
