    The Community Liaison Officers of Thornton PD are inviting community members to join the us for a series of meetings featuring speakers on a variety of public safety and community-focused topics throughout this year. We hope to learn, connect, and take part in meaningful conversations that help build a safer, stronger community and are excited to announce the details of our first session. No RSVP required to attend.

    Session #1 will include the following speakers:

    • Kylynn McTague, Thornton Police Department Public Information Officer
      • Learn how police departments communicate information to the community. This session covers the role of the Public Information Officer, how messages are developed and approved, and the balance between transparency, accuracy, and public safety.
    • Mike, Community Reach Center
      • This session introduces personalized behavioral health services available to children, teenagers, and adults. Participants will learn how care is tailored to meet individual needs and how supportive, age-appropriate services promote emotional well-being for individuals and families.
