Homeless Outreach Team: The Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) is a group dedicated to building relationships with the unhoused population, providing them with resources and investigating encampments. Our team regularly does outreach to provide hygiene items, referrals to shelter, assistance in obtaining vital documents and other needed services. Come learn about the team, where you'll learn about our history, the different initiatives and review data.

Thornton Fire Department: The Thornton Office of Emergency Management session for September Preparedness Month, is presented by Emergency Manager Ryan Doyle. It walks residents through local hazards (severe weather, flooding, wildfire, drought, and more), then focuses on practical family preparedness – making a communications and family emergency plan, building a 72-hour emergency kit, signing up for Thornton’s emergency alert system (ThorntonReady Alerts), and getting involved through additional training via Thornton CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
