Police Education & Engagement Series, Session #3

The Community Liaison Officers of Thornton PD are inviting community members to join the us for a series of meetings featuring speakers on a variety of public safety and community-focused topics throughout this year. We hope to learn, connect, and take part in meaningful conversations that help build a safer, stronger community. No RSVP required to attend.

Join us for a discussion on how the Thornton Police Department uses cameras and technology to enhance public safety, improve transparency, and support investigations. Speakers will include Thornton Police Deputy Chief Paul Hawkins and Thornton Police Commander Chad Parker. Topics will include body-worn cameras, drone operations, traffic enforcement cameras, automated license plate readers, and traffic operations cameras. Attendees will learn how these technologies are used, the policies that govern them, and how they help officers serve the community.
