Come join us for Thornton's 70th year celebration at this year's Thorntonfest! There will be many new amenities for the entire family to enjoy all day long, including a laser light show to wrap up the evening.

Carpenter Playground and Splash Pad Redesign
Big changes coming to Carpenter playground & splash pad! The design phase for this full renovation kicked off in February 2026, and phase 1 construction is anticipated in 2027-2028. You too can help guide the design process!
