FasTracks- The N Line

North Metro "N Line" to Thornton - The first 13 miles of the 18.5-mile commuter rail line provides service from Union Station through Denver, Commerce City, Thornton, Northglenn, and eventually to north Adams County.

Bus

Currently, Thornton routes include 8, 12, 19, 80, 80L, 88L, 92, 93L, 104, 104L, 112, 120, 120L, 120X, and 122X (note, the 80, 104, 128, and 122X are not in service during the COVID-19 pandemic). Find local and regional bus route schedules via RTD's website.

Highway Information

Express Lanes are free for motorcycles and vehicles with 3 or more occupants if the vehicle is equipped with a changeable toll tag. For your safety, do not cross the solid white lines. Smart Commute Metro North logoSmart Commute

Smart Commute is a non-profit transportation management organization (TMO) that promotes and supports smarter commuting options at no charge. They inform and serve local communities and businesses by advocating for better transportation options and enhanced mobility for the north metro region. We provide strategies, programs, and information to reduce congestion and improve air quality. We assist area employers by providing teleworking and compressed workweek programs. Our services are available to businesses, public organizations, and individuals.

North Area Transportation Alliance

The North Area Transportation Alliance (NATA) is a partnership of public and private entities in the North I-25 Corridor working to identify, develop, advocate, and lobby for transportation solutions that will enhance mobility, drive economic development and reduce traffic congestion in the north metro area.
