    The city is seeking input on how our Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds should be used. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides these funds to be used for projects and services that benefit low to-moderate-income persons. To view Thornton's draft Annual Action Plan (AAP), which provides the current recommended projects/activities, visit the CDBG web page below.

    The 2024 AAP will be available during the 30 day comment period June 20, 2024 to July 22, 2024. Contact CDBG@Thorntonco.gov or 720-977-5800 to view the 2024 AAP and/or provide your ideas. A public hearing will also be held on July 23, 2024, during the City Council Meeting.
