Thornton Development Authority Meeting

We are excited to continue the redevelopment visioning process for the Thornton Shopping Center at 88th Avenue and Washington Street. The Thornton Development Authority (TDA) has teamed up with Kansas State University’s Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program and the Colorado Brownfields Partnership to prepare conceptual ideas and sketches for the site.

Please join us for an open house to provide your input on the conceptual ideas that illustrate potential land uses, multimodal circulation, supporting businesses and services, green space, and connections to the adjacent neighborhoods. We will also be providing comment boxes to leave your written suggestions.
